Artistic Investment
Session fees are for the time and talent of the photographer only and will not be applied to the cost of your prints. Pre-session phone or in-person consultation is part of this process. It's a great opportunity for us to talk, get to know each other and design your photography experience. We'll discuss the vision for your portraits. This is important for me to get a feel for creating the images you will cherish! You will have the option to purchase any portraits prints or specialty products during your Order Session.
Goal and Vision
My art studio for your portrait is the natural outside world, on location in North San Diego County Coastal (Carlsbad, Oceanside). Being coastal, there are great beaches to set the mood. Or if your special place is a park, that is fantastic too! Whether your portrait is if of your family, a senior portrait, a family or pet session, I put you in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. I capture their personality and special energy.
I create art portraits for your, specializing in Senior Portraits, Engagement and Dog Photography. I want you to be relaxed during your photography experience, but most importantly, to have fun ... that's when the great image comes alive. I like to take the fun and crazy shoots. If your like to climb rocks, walk in the water, swing like a little kid, swim with your dog or just "make stuff up" .. that works too. If its a simple intimate portrait or something crazy ... I want you to be happy with your photos. It's your experiece (and your dog's too!).
Portraits Session $275.00
Family, high school senior, engagement or a special event in your life, my portrait sessions may last between 1 to 2 hours. There are great locations that we love to use for our sessions. 40 plus images will be presented to you at your viewing/ordering session, scheduled on a separate day.
"Your Dog's a Star" Session $150.00
A fun 30 minute mini-session with you and your dog (or just your doggy model if you prefer), taken at Buddy Todd Park in Oceanside. Lots of grass areas and a favorite with the pooches.
Selecting your Portraits! Selecting your Images! The most exciting and important part is choosing the images and prints. Within 10 days of your session a selection of images will be online for viewing. The number of images will vary, depending on the session time frame you choose. I'll make an appointment with you review the images. We can do this in person or via "on-line" communication. Please note: for promotional deals or discounts, only on-line proofing is available.
Travel and/or Applicable fees: Travel fees must be paid for 3-days prior to photo shoot. Travel fees apply for distances from 10-100 miles away from Oceanside (Zip Code 92054). The fee ranges from $25-$125 depending on the final location. Depending on shooting location, an addition fee(s) may apply, such as admission fees to parks, museums and gardens. If the location is outside of San Diego County, hotel and air fees apply. It will be discussed prior to any commitment.
Payment: Due at the time of your booking session.
Additional Information: Photo sessions are limited to 4 people and/or pets. Additional people and/or pets, a $25 fee will be added per person/pet. Additional prints can be purchased "al la carte".
The above sessions are for individual family and/or pets portraits only. Special events shoots or large gatherings will be quoted after a consultation to review your special needs. I'm based in Oceanside, CA.
