Sessions
My studio is the outside world ... nature, on location in North San Diego County (Oceanside, Carlsbad and Encinitas)*. Being coastal, there are great beaches to set the mood. Or if your special place is a park, that is fantastic too! Whether your portrait is if of your dog (or parrot, cat, lizard ... or yourself), there are great places to shoot. I shoot dogs in a relaxed atmosphere. I capture their personality and special energy. I let the dogs relax and have fun ... that's when the great image comes. I like to take the fun and crazy shoots. If your like to climb rocks, swim with your dog or just "make stuff up" .. that works too. If its a simple intimate portrait or something crazy ... I want you to be happy with your photos. It's your dog's session (and your too!).
*An addition fee will be added for multiple locations.
Design Consultation - FREE I strongly recommend that we meet for a photo design consultation. It is a great opportunity for us to meet, get to know each other and design your photo session. We will look at sample images and discuss the vision for your portraits. We'll review clothing, hair styles and potential props. This is important for me to get a feel for creating the images that I hope, you will cherish!
Candid Session $150 for approximately 1 hour shooting time. All prints purchased "al carte". There is no limit to the number of people and pets in your session. Summer Special $125 (exp. 9/30/10)
Ultra Session Plus $225.00 for up to 2 hours of shooting time. Prints credit of $50 towards the purchase of prints. There is no limit to the number of people and pets in your session.
Goal and Vision My goal for your photo session is keep it free flowing and for you (and your pet) to have fun and come away with a great experience. Since we have coordinated the outlined for your shoot (for the most part) and we share the final image(s) in mind. After the session we will typically do a quick review of the images to be sure we got the images you need.
Ordering The most exciting and important part is choosing the images and prints. Within 10 days of your session a selection of images will be online for viewing at your leisure. I will also include several 'artist' picks where I pick my favorites and process them up as final images, some with special effects and artist rendering too! I'll make an appointment with you review the images. We can do this in person or via "on-line" communication.
